Reports indicated that the woman was staying with her mother, brother and five children presumably due to previous domestic violence situations. It was also noted that the man purportedly tried to commit suicide after the alleged murder.
Reports also stated that the woman’s mother, brother and children were all present in the home when the purported event took place. None of those other individuals were injured. It is unclear how authorities became alerted to the situation, but the man was taken into custody. He is currently facing multiple charges relating to domestic violence, including murder and kidnapping.
