Understandably, a sex crime arrest is serious. Colorado residents who are accused of sex offenses are at risk of losing their freedom. A criminal conviction could impact them for the rest of their lives. A man offering free massages is being investigated for sexual assault. He has already been arrested in connection with one incident.

The 27-year-old male was arrested due to accusations made by a 15-year-old girl. He supposedly met her over the Internet. According to police, this young woman claims she was sexually assaulted by the accused during a free massage session. After his arrest, local police began investigating this same individual for other reports of similar accusations. It is believed that a warrant was previously issued for his arrest in connection with a similar incident that was reported to police back in 2014.

Both of these incidents are still under investigation and others are pending. It is unknown if the accused is currently being held by police or if he has been released. Court dates regarding this matter have not been reported to the public.

While sex offenses are not acceptable behavior, accusations do not mean the individual is guilty of any criminal conduct. Colorado prosecutors will need to furnish substantial evidence in court for a conviction to occur. In addition, the man in this case has the right to challenge the evidence offered against him, including any testimony from his accusers. Retaining a defense attorney with experience in handling criminal charges of this nature can potentially decrease legal exposure.
